Vidalista Side Effects

Common tadalafil side effects

Vidalista is considered well tolerated, safe and effective when used in adequate doses. Despite this, tadalafil, like any other drug, can cause certain side effects. The most common of them (experienced by 1 patients out of 10) are:

  • unstable angina pectoris (chest pain)
  • arrhythmia
  • urticaria
  • dermatitis
  • sweating
  • priapism, penile hemorrhage, hematospermia (blood in sperm)

These side effects are as dangerous as they are rare and call for immediate medical help.

Tadalafil long-term side effects

Tadalafil is considered a risk-free and well-studied substance with the safety of its use proven by two decades of in vivo use and the ever-growing body of clinical evidence. To back up this, there are numerous trials, including a study called Long-term safety and tolerability of tadalafil in the treatment of erectile dysfunction. However, it should only be used under medical supervision and only in the presence of erectile pathology. The effects of tadalafil in men unaffected by erectile disability have not been studied.

Some men use tadalafil without a diagnosis of erectile dysfunction, doing so solely with the aim of improving performance. The risk of this practice is that, in the long term, a "psychological dependence" can be established, that is, the erection will only occur when using the medicine.

When to seek medical help?

Talk to your doctor if the common side effects of tadalafil you are experiencing suddenly intensify or become hard to tolerate.

If you develop any of the dangerous reactions towards tadalafil, it is important to seek medical help without delay. Call the ambulance or travel to ER immediately if you are experiencing cardiac trouble (irregular heartbeat, difficulty breathing, pain in the arm or chest), severe allergic reaction (swelling of the lips, tongue or face, impaired breathing, skin rash, hives) or erection that lasts over 4 hours or feels painful.

How to avoid tadalafil side effects

The side effects of tadalafil are dose-related. This means that the probability of experiencing an adverse reaction to Vidalista tablets will increase with higher doses. It is therefore recommended to start with the minimal “on demand” dose of tadalafil, which is 10 mg or ½ of Vidalista 20mg tablet.

In case you are not happy with the results of your current dose strength and in the absence of bothersome side effects, your prescriber will recommend an increase in dosage.

The opposite is also true, in the presence of intense unwanted reaction to tadalafil 20mg the dose can be rolled back to 10mg or possibly to Cialis Daily that can be used in minimal doses of 2,5mg to 5mg on daily basis, regardless of whether or not you engage in sexual activity.

Here are some tips on how to minimize the risk of Vidalista side effects:

  • To avoid any unnecessary risks, always take Vidalista pills as instructed by your prescriber.
  • Time your meals around the intake of Vidalista; it mitigates side effects related to the gastric tract such as dyspepsia, nausea, stomach upset, etc.
  • Avoid alcohol or keep its consumption to the minimum; the combination of tadalafil and alcohol can intensify dizziness, nausea, headache and in extreme cases may lead to fainting or severe drop in blood pressure.
  • Do not take any other medications in combination with Vidalista if not previously approved by doctor.

And keep in mind that most patients report that the side effects of tadalafil disappear as they continue with the therapy.
